1. All reservations are provisional and subject to modification or cancellation by the Field Director.

2. Permits are issued specifically for the individual(s) named on the booking. No exchanges or substitutions of tourists are permitted. If the named individual(s) are unable to visit, the booking will be considered a no-show. No refunds or cancellations will be processed for no-shows.

3. Reservation details must be accurate, and false information may result in denied entry.

4. Foreign nationals must declare their nationality when reserving.

5. Valid identity proof (e.g., Voter ID, Driving License, etc.) must be presented for verification.

6. Fake or modified permits will lead to legal action, including imprisonment and fines.

1. Arrive 45 mins before gate timings to avoid inconvenience; late entry is not allowed.

2. Alcohol and non-vegetarian food are prohibited inside the reserve.

3. Visitors must be accompanied by a registered Nature Guide or Naturalist.

4. The reserve is a litter-free zone; visitors must carry out all non-biodegradable litter.

5. Firearms, pets, and unregistered vehicles are not allowed.

6. Visitors should stick to designated trails and routes.

7. Cooking is only allowed in designated areas.

8. Smoking and lighting fires are prohibited.

9. No loud music or noise; use of headphones for audio equipment is required.

10. No excessive speeding or horn-blowing.

11. Do not disturb or feed wildlife; severe penalties apply.

12. Accommodation must be occupied as reserved or intimated; otherwise, it may be canceled.

13. Both the gypsy driver and guide are responsible for ensuring that tourists do not disturb, tease, feed, or chase animals. Please take precautions and guide tourists appropriately to prevent such behavior. Failure to comply may result in legal action under section 38J of The Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.

14. Day visits to Dhikala Tourism Zone are only allowed on conducted tours.

15. Only designated vehicles registered with CTR are permitted.

16. All visitors are governed by the Wildlife Protection Act and related laws.

17. By entering the CTR territory , you agree to assume all risks in respect of loss, damage and/or injury to your property/person (or anyone else whom you may be responsible for) and be liable for any cost/expense incurred arising out of such loss, damage and/or injury.

4. Day visit bookings during the rainy season are provisional and can be canceled on short notice due to weather conditions; no refunds in such cases.

5. No refunds for advance reservations if entry is disrupted due to natural causes.

6. Partial or full fee refunds may be issued if entry is disrupted due to factors beyond CTR's control.

7. Visitors enter at their own risk, and CTR is not liable for any injury or damage.

8. Any disputes are subject to the laws and jurisdiction of Uttarakhand, India.

9. MDR charges are non-refundable. MDR Charges - It is a fee charged by a bank for providing payment processing services. Essentially, when you make a payment at a POS or website, a small percentage of the transaction amount as MDR is charged by your bank. This fee covers the cost of processing the transaction, including the technology infrastructure, fraud protection, and administrative expenses associated with facilitating electronic payments.

10. Please note that bookings secured via travel agents, agencies, or other third parties must comply with our Terms of Use and official booking procedures. Failure to do so may result in ticket cancellation without prior notice and without refunds.
Corbett Tiger Reserve will not be held responsible for any losses incurred due to such cancellations. The tourist will be solely responsible for any financial or other consequences arising from such cancellation.

11. If you have secured your permits via any travel agent, agency, or any other third party, and you encounter any issues or queries, please contact your booking agent directly for assistance.
While we may acknowledge your concerns, Corbett Tiger Reserve will not be responsible for resolving issues related to bookings made through third parties.

NIGHT STAY

4. Foreign nationals must declare their nationality when making a reservation.

5. Valid identity proof (e.g., Voter ID, Driving License, etc.) must be presented for verification.

6. Fake or modified permits will lead to legal action, including imprisonment and fines.

7. Maximum booking allowed is for 3 consecutive nights; further bookings can only be made after 15 days from the checkout date.

8. Visitors booking under the foreigner quota must be accompanied by a foreign guest.

1. Arrive before "45 minutes" of gate timings to avoid inconvenience; late entry is not allowed.

2. Alcohol and non-vegetarian food are prohibited inside the reserve.

3. Visitors must not be under the influence of alcoholic, narcotic, or psychotropic substances during their stay.

4. All tourists must be accompanied by a registered Nature Guide or Naturalist.

5. The reserve is a litter-free zone; visitors must carry out all non-biodegradable litter.

6. Firearms, pets, and unregistered vehicles are not allowed.

7. Walking or trekking is prohibited except on designated Nature Trails.

8. Driving beyond designated timings and routes is prohibited.

9. Cooking is not allowed at Dhikala and Bijrani tourist complexes; limited cooking is allowed in other Forest Rest Houses.

10. Smoking outside residential complexes/rest houses and lighting fires are strictly prohibited.

11. Use of audio equipment without headphones is prohibited.

12. No excessive speeding or horn-blowing.

Terms & Conditions

  • Acceptance of Terms: By purchasing a ticket or entering the premises of Corbett Tiger Reserve, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not purchase tickets or enter the premises.
  • Termination Clause: Corbett Tiger Reserve reserves the right to terminate your access to the premises for violation of these terms and conditions or any conduct that the CTR deems inappropriate or harmful, other visitors, or the artwork.
  • Ticket Purchase and Refunds: Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Any request for refunds or exchanges due to lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed tickets will not be entertained. If the ticket is not confirmed full refund except the service fee will be settled by CTR in the same account from which the transaction was done within 5-7 business days. 
  • Limited Liability Clause: Corbett Tiger Reserve will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if the has been advised of the possibility of such damages) arising out of or in connection with the use of the reserve or its services.
  • All visitors to Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR) are expected to adhere to the following rules of conduct: treat all CTR staff, gate personnel, and authorities with courtesy and respect and avoid any rude or abusive behaviour. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to warnings, denial of entry, cancellation of permits, or legal action. 
  • Intellectual Property Clause: All intellectual property rights in the artwork, exhibits, signs, logos, and all other proprietary materials in the reserve are owned by Corbett Tiger Reserve and/or its licensors. Any unauthorized use of these materials is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and criminal penalties.
  • Changes and Cancellations: Corbett Tiger Reserve reserves the right to change or cancel the tickets at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice. 
  • Behavior and Conduct: Visitors are expected to behave appropriately and respectfully while inside the premises. Any form of disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the premises.
  • Health and Safety: Visitors are responsible for their own health and safety. Those who are not feeling well are requested to wear masks. Running, pushing, or any behavior that could harm anyone is not permitted.
  • Personal Items: Umbrellas, pointers, sharp items, packages, and bags larger than 40 x 40 cms are not allowed inside the closed premises.
  • Group Visits: For organized groups consisting of more than 10 people, there should be one designated person responsible for the group.
  • Compliance with Local Laws: International visitors or visitors traveling to Ramnagar from other parts of the country are expected to comply with all local and state government rules and regulations.

  • Automatic Booking Session Recording - At Corbett Tiger Reserve( hereafter referred to as CTR), we automatically log all booking sessions on our website. It is important to note that the CTR management holds the complete authority to cancel reservations or limit access based on various factors, including but not limited to repetitive or suspicious activities, such as the utilization of AI bots, browser plugins, extensions, and similar technologies. These actions are taken to ensure adherence to our fair booking policy.
  • Data Handling for Canceled Bookings - It's important to note that when a booking is canceled, Corbett Tiger Reserve does not retain any of the associated Personal Identifiable Information data. Your privacy and data security is of utmost importance to us. However, for audit purposes, we keep only the payment reference numbers.
  • To ensure a faster checkout experience, your payment information such as your email, card details, etc. might be saved by the secure payment gateway we use. Neither CTR nor its technology partner stores this data on our servers. However, in very rare cases like disputes or discrepancies, we might need to retrieve it collaboratively with your bank to assist authorities or resolve the issue.

  • For Minor Permits / Tickets (Under 18 years of age): Parent / Legal Guardian Consent Required.If a permit / ticket includes only children under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must make the booking for them and provide written consent for the same.For travel agencies / Agents / Tour Operators - It is the responsibility of the person booking the permits to ensure written consent is obtained from a parent / legal guardian and the same is to be submitted to us via mail or at the office. CTR is not responsible for verifying consent. Bookings without documented consent may be cancelled or entry denied without any intimidation. This ensures the safety and supervision of young visitors during their visit to Corbett Tiger Reserve, Uttarakhand. This can be easily done by email [email protected] with the subject line "Child Ticket Consent - [Booking Reference Number]" and attach the consent document. Submit a physical copy of the written consent at the CTR office, Ramnagar. Important Note: Bookings where all permit holders are minors and lack documented parent / legal guardian consent are subject to cancellation by CTR management, as per Indian law.
